The itinerary begins with your arrival at the airport in Beijing and ends with your transfer to the Shanghai airport for your departure home. When making your travel arrangements, please keep in mind that the majority of flights to China from the United States arrive the following day and flights back to the United States arrive the same day.

Day 01: Arrive in Beijing
Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to Presidential Beijing Hotel or similar for check-in.

Day 02: Beijing
Full day tour: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace. (B, L)
Optional Kung Fu Show with Peking Duck dinner, USD 60 per person.

Day 03: Beijing
Full day tour: the Badaling Great Wall (2 hours visit at least) with jade stone workshop visit en route, photo stop at the Bird Nest & Water Cube. (B, L)

Day 04: Beijing
Full day tour: the Temple of Heaven (watch local people doing all kinds of morning exercise, including Chinese Tai Chi ), pearl factory, Hutong tour by rickshaw with a home visit. (B, L)

Day 05: Beijing - Xi'an
Fly to Xi'an. Visit the Provincial Museum & Big Wild Goose Pagoda. (B, L)

Day 06: Xi'n
Full day excursion to the Terra-cotta Warriors Museum, and visit to the ceramics & pottery workshop en route. Enjoy the Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show tonight. (B, L, D)

Day 07: Xi'an - Chongqing
Fly to Chongqing. Visit the Panda Zoo, and enjoy local flavored hot pot dinner before embarkation of the MV President No.6 Cruise (Deluxe 5-star Cruise, standard cabin with private balcony). (B, L, D)

Day 08: Yangtze River Cruise
Start our sail for a distance of 430 miles in all the great gorges and deep mountain valleys. Optional shore excursion in the morning to the ghost city of Fengdu, and visit Shibaozhai in the afternoon (included tour). (B, L, D)

Day 09: Yangtze River Cruise
Sailing into the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, and the river changes to wildly stirring, riffle water along with swirling bubbles. The mossy cliffs are hemmed by the banging pathways under theTwelve Peaks. When the boat gets to the famed Shennong Stream, we change to small boat and sail deep into the Shennong Stream (included tour). Then we return to our boat and continue sailing into the Xiling Gorge. Day 10: Yichang - Shanghai
Excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site (included tour) and pass through the 5 ship locks with lowering our boat down 412 feet, before we end our cruise at Yichang. Transfer to airport and fly to Shanghai. (B, L)

Day 11: Shanghai
Full day visit to the Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, the Bund and Xintiandi, Pudong New Development Zone. (B, L)
Optional Shanghai Acrobatic Show with dinner, USD 60 per person.

Day 12: Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai
Excursion to Suzhou. Visit Garden of Net Master, Silk spinning factory and Pingjiang Road Old Town Area. Return to Shanghai. (B, L)

Day 13: Shanghai - U.S.A
Transfer to airport for your flight home. (B)

Single traveler is accepted only when the desired departure has other passenger signed up. However, the airport round trip transfers surcharge will be requested for single travelers: USD 50 per person.
For the booking that passengers arrive in Beijing between 9 pm and 7 am, or depart Beijing before 7 am and after 10 pm, please add USD 30 respectively for the transfer surcharge.
